Aquellos que quieran llegar a la ciudad de Óbidos (Portugal) en algún momento tendrán que tomar una difícil decisión... Unos amigos que estaban de paseo por allí se toparon con este dilema, y aparentemente encontraron el camino correcto. Asi que si necesitan llegar a Óbidos... pregúntenle a ellos! El Payaso Cucharita!

Créanme que no es tan peligroso ir al barrio de Lugano 1 y 2. Sobre todo un domingo al mediodía y más aun si es día de elecciones. Llevé a mi novia, que tenia que votar en ese lugar y como recompensa encontré este anuncio que demuestra que no importa qué tan pobre sea el barrio... de todos modos, motivos para festejar nunca faltan.

Y la sorpresa dónde está?

Luego de estar horas y horas en el desierto de Liwa (frontera entre Arabia Saudita y Emiratos Árabes) el hecho de encontrar este cartel solitario en el medio de la nada ya es una sorpresa suficiente!
Seguramente el sorprendido era el cartel por encontrarnos a nosotros… debe haber sido el primer signo de vida en años!
Seriamente, no había nada que ese cartel pudiera indicar, tal vez estuviera diciendo “Estoy aburrido aquí, llevame a la ciudad”
After hours and hours in Liwa desert (border between Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates), to find this lonely signboard in the middle of nothing is surprising enough!! For sure the signboard was surprised to find us… we must be the first sing of life in years! Seriously, there was nothing to be indicated by this signboard. Maybe it was telling “I’m bored here, take me to the city”

Algún lugareño ingenioso con un poco de pintura blanca supo transformar una P en una F. El resultado, una carcajada instantánea de quien conduce por esa ruta y un mensaje que llama a compartir el vicio del cigarrillo!!!

Película o Amenaza?

Las pintadas con stencil suelen ser ingeniosas pero no siempre graciosas, y no tienen por qué serlo. Después de todo, normalmente tienen algún mensaje de protesta. Esta pintada que encontré por las calles de San Telmo (Buenos Aires), más que una protesta parece ser una amenaza cinematográfica... Graciosa por cierto, y digna de ser mostrada! Después de todo no creo que Bill Gates se sienta amenazado.

The stencil paintings are clever but not always funny, and they don’t have to be funny. After all, they usually have a protest message. This painting found in the streets of San Telmo (Buenos Aires), more than a protest seems to be a movie threat... Funny, by the way, and worth to be shown! After all, I don’t think that Bill Gates feels threatened.

He aquí un cartel que vi en una ruta de Uruguay durante mis vacaciones del 2007. Gracias a Dios mi destino no era Salinas... así que opté por seguir derecho, no sin antes sacarle una foto a esta joya! Al fondo pueden ver mi auto con las balizas encendidas… educación vial ante todo!

La Primera del Blog

La primera entrada del blog va a modo de presentación, sobre todo para los que no me conocen personalmente. Ese soy yo, junto a un cartel vial un tanto exagerado en la expresión de la vaca...
Aprovechando un viaje por laburo, Estaba paseando el fin de semana, conociendo la zona de la selva negra (sudoeste de Alemania), donde encontré este cartel. Sería esta la famosa enfermedad de la vaca loca? La respuesta nunca la supe, pero por las dudas desde ese día no comí más carne durante ese viaje.

I take the first entry of this blog as an own introduction, especially for those who don’t know me personally. That’s me next to a signboard a bit exaggerated about the cow’s expression... Taking advantage of a business trip, I spent some time of the weekend in the black forest (southwest of Germany), where I found this signboard. Would this be the famous mad cow illness? I never knew the answer, but from that day I never ate beef again during that trip.
